South African Talk Radio Search Platform Built 100% with Claude Code
shauntrennery · x · 2026-08-28
Developer Shaun Trennery launched Locl, a platform designed to make South African talk radio searchable. It listens to and transcribes live streams from major English-language stations, indexing content so users can search for any mentioned names or topics.
Notably, Trennery built the entire platform without writing a single line of code himself, relying entirely on Claude Code. The project took three to four months, built during gaps in his workday. He stated that they are now at a stage where they don't even look at the code anymore, leaving iterations entirely to the AI.
