AI at $1/day and humanoid robots at $5/day sit left of nearly all global wages, analysis argues

An analysis based on the global distribution of daily worker income argues that when AI costs fall to $1/day and capable humanoid robots to $5/day (with replacement capability starting by end of this year), all human labor to the right of those cost lines will be replaced by cheaper, better AI and robots.
Key points:
- Nearly all jobs in developed countries lie to the right of those lines
- The lines will keep shifting left as AI and robots get cheaper
- Even workers earning $500/day could be replaced by AI costing under $1/day
- Workers permanently displaced would receive Universal High Income (UHI) payments, eventually extended to everyone, so very low-productivity workers earning below AI/robot cost would stop working
