Grok in Tesla can write your files but can't send them — and one tap wipes the chat

A designer tested Grok in his Tesla Model Y: during a long drive he had it brainstorm and create a Markdown file. Grok did generate it — then admitted it cannot send the file to the user in any way. Despite using the same login, there's no shared chat history between Grok in the Tesla and Grok on his phone. Worse, an accidental tap briefly turned Grok off and wiped the entire conversation. He argues that if this actually worked — an AI taking notes and bullet-pointing on long drives — it would be genuinely useful; today it's just a promise. (at)Tesla please fix it.
