The author tested Tencent's Hy4 preview (770B/49B active/1M context) across 8 projects, concluding: much improved frontend aesthetics, very stable long-horizon tasks, and strong for office productivity.
Cases include audio-driven particle visuals reacting to volume/pitch/spectrum in 8 styles, a web recreation of the classic TR-808 drum machine (adjustable BPM, instrument components, WAV export), and an online guitar tuner. In one demo the model inspected a local project, picked a subdomain, invoked a deployment skill and shipped the site in 13 minutes.
