Andrew Ng open-sources an AI coworker that finishes tasks, not just chats
Shruti_0810 · x · 2026-08-28
Andrew Ng has open-sourced an 'AI coworker' agent: give it an outcome like 'prepare the customer brief' or 'clean up my calendar' and it breaks the work into steps, operating across your desktop, files and apps. Sensitive actions (sending messages, editing files, running commands) can require approval. It integrates 25+ tools including GitHub, Slack, Jira, Notion, Gmail and Calendar with MCP support, and has no model lock-in — bring your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, Kimi or Grok key, or run locally with Ollama.
