The 10th Open Source AI Summit (OSAS) hits San Francisco this Friday, hosted by BuildPlanet with NEAR AI at The House by Edge & Node.
Headliners include two co-authors of "Attention Is All You Need": Lukasz Kaiser (ex-OpenAI) on "Learning Powerful Models: Why and How" and Illia Polosukhin (NEAR founder) on "User-Owned AI Is All You Need", plus PyTorch CTO Matt White and Fireworks AI co-founder Dzhulgakov.
The half-day seminar focuses on technical developments at the open-source AI frontier; the host teased a no-hand-waving session with Dzhulgakov on open-source economics.
