Anthropic's MHS standard lets AI agents control physical devices

Anthropic introduced the Model Hardware Standard (MHS), a set of standardized drivers allowing AI agents to interface with and control physical devices. By providing a common interface and data format, MHS eliminates the need for bespoke integration software, potentially reducing scientific experiment setup times from months to minutes.
