Vercel AI SDK adds Cursor support, unifying coding agent interfaces
cramforce · x · 2026-08-28
Vercel announced that the AI SDK harness layer now supports Cursor via the official @ai-sdk/harness-cursor adapter. This allows developers to use Cursor through the unified HarnessAgent interface, enabling seamless switching between different coding agents like Claude Code, Cline, and Grok Build without changing application code. The adapter utilizes the Agent Client Protocol (ACP) under the hood.
