Dev Tip: Customize AI Code Review with a simple config file
pgerrits · x · 2026-08-28
A developer shared a practical tip for customizing AI code review behavior using a configuration file.
How it works:
By appending specific rules to a CODINGSTANDARDS.md file in your project (e.g., via echo "Tautological tests considered harmful." >> CODINGSTANDARDS.md), the /code-review command will automatically pick up and apply these custom standards. This allows for quick injection of personal or team coding norms into the AI workflow.
