MIT CSAIL Director Daniela Rus named to TIME100 AI 2026

Daniela Rus, Director of MIT CSAIL, has been named to TIME's 100 most influential people in AI for 2026.
Rus focuses on robotics and embodied intelligence. In 2023, she co-founded Liquid AI, which builds nature-inspired, energy-efficient models. The company has raised over $250 million and secured partnerships with Shopify (for search) and Mercedes-Benz (for in-car models).
