Stability AI Raises $76M, Backed by Major Music Labels and EA

Stability AI, the maker of Stable Diffusion, has raised $76 million in a Series B round, bringing its total funding to $232 million. The round features an unusual roster of investors, including major entertainment players like Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Warner Music, and Electronic Arts (EA), alongside AMD Ventures. CEO Prem Akkaraju described the funding as an affirmation of their vision to empower creators. The capital will be used to build out their creative production tools and expand professional services.
