Pollen Robotics has released Microduck, a 25cm open-source bipedal robot priced at $399.
- Ready to Move: Out of the box, it walks, sits, roller skates, grabs objects with its beak, and stands up autonomously.
- Sim2Real: Trained via reinforcement learning; users can train policies in a simulator and deploy them directly to the physical robot.
- Customizable: Every behavior is a retrainable policy, allowing users to teach new tricks and share them with the community.
