Warp has opened early access to Factories, an "agents-as-code" platform:
- Core idea: repos, agents, models, permissions and checkpoints all live in a single factory.yaml; first factory in 5 minutes, extensible over time, with any model or harness (examples show claude-5-fable-high, glm-5.2-fireworks).
- Platform, not a vertical product: API, CLI, TypeScript SDK and an MCP server; work flows in from chat, tickets and source control, status flows back; runs viewable and steerable from web, mobile, terminal or IDE.
- Self-improvement: every run is scored, and observer agents open PRs against your factory config to improve it.
- Stats: 800k+ devs, 200k agent runs/day, 30%+ automation coverage (PRs merged with zero edits), -20% cost per PR over time.
