Cartesia Sonic-3.6 tops Voice Arena US English TTS leaderboard

Cartesia released Sonic-3.6, a new real-time TTS model that debuts at #1 on the Voice Arena US English leaderboard with an Elo rating of 1085, statistically tying with Google DeepMind's Gemini 3.1 Flash TTS. It outperforms its predecessor Sonic-3.5, Simba 3.2, and Grok TTS in blind, head-to-head listener votes totaling over 1,400 across two languages.
