Jensen Huang Says Nvidia Achieved AGI, Then Calls the Milestone Senseless

On Nvidia's earnings call Wednesday, CEO Jensen Huang casually said the company had "achieved AGI" — then immediately dismissed the milestone as "senseless." The Verge argues he has a point: with no consensus on what AGI means or how to detect it, claiming achievement is arbitrary. Asked about OpenAI's AGI pursuit, Huang said "for many tasks, we could say that we've already achieved AGI."
