AI search found an Austrian masterpiece she'd walked past — in one hour

Ruth Starkman asked AI for Austrian landscape paintings in Austrian museums from 1890–1918 that she might have missed. An hour later it surfaced Anton Faistauer's "Pinzgauer Landschaft mit dem Steinernen Meer" (c. 1916), which she had overlooked in person at the Dorotheum despite having seen it. She's now a fan of the artist — turns out a machine can teach an old connoisseur new tricks.
