Google DeepMind Pilots First Double-Blind Evaluation for Frontier AI
sebkrier · x · 2026-08-28
Google DeepMind, in collaboration with AVERI, OpenMined, and MLCommons, is piloting the industry's first double-blind evaluation for a frontier AI model. Using secure enclaves to isolate computations, the setup ensures that neither test prompts nor model weights are revealed. This approach addresses confidentiality concerns for both developers and evaluators, aiming to establish a more trustworthy ecosystem for AI safety and performance assessments.
