Google launches Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash with Veo-style controls and scene extension

Google officially launched Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash, its newest multimodal model for video generation and editing, bringing Veo's creative controls plus new capabilities: 4K upscaling, first/last frame control, fast 360p drafting, and a major upgrade in scene extension that can extend scenes based on up to 10 seconds of context.
The surrounding ecosystem is updating too: scene extension is coming soon to Flow, rolling out globally in the Gemini App for all Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers; developers can build directly in Google AI Studio and deploy on the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
