A Nigerian developer launched One Million Squares: a wall of 1,000,000 squares at ₦100 ($0.06) each, where buyers permanently place their brand/image and get X promotion as a perk.
First 24 hours: 2,666 squares claimed, 107 contributors, ₦266,600 revenue, 1,370 unique visitors, 2,819 page views, 200 checkout starts, plus 206 reserved squares. As of writing, 3,807 squares sold (₦380,700), 0.38% filled.
It's a "Million Dollar Homepage" revival for the African market — ultra-low price + scarcity + social virality, a low-cost playbook indie hackers can copy.
