Photoshop's new beta adds AI Assisted Editor view with draw-to-edit markup
The Verge AI · rss · 2026-08-27
Adobe is rolling out an AI-heavy Photoshop update. A beta "AI Assisted Editor" view gathers all AI features — prompt-based editing, background removal, AI image extension, and more — into a single toolbar.
A new markup feature lets you refine edits by drawing directly on the image: select areas to recolor, sketch arrows to indicate position, or brush rough shapes to suggest new elements, all without typing a text prompt.
