Hugging Face's Pollen launches rollerskating robot duck Microduck for $399

Hugging Face's Pollen Robotics has launched its second cute AI robot, the Microduck: a one-eyed biped standing under 10 inches tall, available for preorder at $399 in cream, graphite, lavender, and sky blue, with shipping planned before Christmas 2026.
Demos show it picking up socks and markers, kicking a ball, and zipping around on tiny rollerskates. It can react to its surroundings, follow a laser pointer, and be controlled with a game controller. Its software is open-source, like Hugging Face's earlier robots.
