Hugging Face has released microduck, a 10-inch open-source bipedal robot with 15 actuators and a rich sensor suite (camera, speaker, LiDAR, NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi) that owners train themselves using reinforcement learning. Redditors see it as a sign that "local Llama robotics" is becoming practical.
