Thom_Wolf · x · 2026-08-27

Thom Wolf unveiled Microduck, the first truly accessible RL robot. It's a 25 cm tiny open-source biped with 15 actuators and packed with sensors (camera, LiDAR, etc.). Users can train it with reinforcement learning or use pre-trained policies for walking, sitting, roller-skating, and object manipulation. It is priced under $400.
