A GitHub project OpenMythos by kyegomez (14.8k stars) offers a theoretical reconstruction of the Claude 'Mythos' architecture built from public research literature. It implements a Recurrent-Depth Transformer with a Prelude, a looped Recurrent Block (up to maxloopiters), and a Coda; attention switches between MLA and GQA, and the feed-forward uses sparse MoE with routed and shared experts, with configurable reasoning depth.
The project stresses it is community-driven and not affiliated with Anthropic in any way. Installable via pip install open-mythos.
