Early generative art models preserved and restorable on modern hardware

The Media Synthesis project on Hugging Face has preserved and restored early neural image-generation models — Big Sleep, VQGAN+CLIP, CLIP Guided Diffusion and others — to run on modern hardware. Merzmensch says he enjoys using them on HF but prefers installing them locally for independence.
