AWS orders another 2M NVIDIA GPUs for 2027-2028, deal estimated at $80B-$120B

AWS and NVIDIA announced an agreement for 2 million additional GPUs (Blackwell Ultra, Rubin) to be delivered in 2027-2028, alongside 100k GPUs for federal AI factories. This follows a March commitment for 1M GPUs; the doubling of the order before the first million is built suggests demand is outpacing plans. Estimates place the 2M GPUs at around 28k NVL72 racks consuming 6-7 GW, with NVIDIA content valued between $80B and $120B. The deal also includes the adoption of Vera CPUs.
