MIT researchers discover method to enable real logical reasoning in LLMs

MIT researchers have developed a new approach using a dataset called PDDL-INSTRUCT to teach models to solve planning problems step-by-step. This method moves beyond simple pattern matching to enable actual logical reasoning in LLMs, significantly improving performance on planning benchmarks.
