Hugging Face CEO Clement Delangue officially announced Microduck, a tiny $399 open-source robot that can be taught new tricks via reinforcement learning.
Demonstrated abilities include walking, picking up objects, getting back up after falling, and even roller-skating. HF calls it the start of an era of affordable open-source robots to democratize physical AI and world models.
