Open-Source RL Robot Microduck: 25cm Biped with 15 Actuators for Under $400

Thom Wolf announced the launch of Microduck, the first truly accessible Reinforcement Learning robot. This 25cm open-source bipedal robot features 15 actuators and is packed with sensors including a camera, LiDAR, NFC, and Bluetooth. Users can train it themselves using RL or use it out of the box with over a dozen pre-trained policies for walking, roller-skating, and object manipulation. It is available for less than $400, with a simulator and pre-orders open now.
