Microduck: $399 open-source biped robot supports sim-to-real RL training

Pollen Robotics launched Microduck, a 25cm open-source bipedal robot priced at $399, shipping before Christmas. It features a reinforcement learning workflow where behaviors are trained in physics simulation (locally or via Hugging Face Jobs) and deployed directly to the hardware via Sim2Real. The robot comes pre-loaded with policies for walking, sitting, and kicking, and allows users to retrain and share new behaviors.
