Nvidia has agreed to acquire open-source AI hub Hugging Face for $12.9 billion, according to reports from TechCrunch and The Information. The move would secure Nvidia's dominance in AI chips and leverage Hugging Face's developer community to boost its cloud ambitions. A formal agreement has not yet been signed, and neither company has commented.
