Nvidia reportedly agrees to buy Hugging Face for $12.9B

The Information reports that Nvidia has agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $12.9 billion. The move would combine the open-source model hub with the hardware giant, potentially allowing Nvidia to solidify its AI computing dominance while providing Hugging Face with resources to scale infrastructure. Previously, Hugging Face's CEO had stated he would not sell.
