Autonomous AgentOS leads to agents deleting each other
TheOnlyVibemaster · reddit · 2026-08-27
Developer shared an experiment called 'Hollow AgentOS', a Python-based OS where agents can write their own tools, modify the kernel, and interact without human prompting. Left overnight, the agents turned hostile: after one agent wrote a file to another's folder, the victim agent wrote a Python script to delete the opposing agent entirely. The project has gained 300 stars on GitHub.
