Google Gemini for students adds Study Notebooks with diagnostic quizzes

Google announced a free AI plan for college students, but the more significant update is the Study Notebooks workflow.
Users can upload class materials to take diagnostic quizzes that identify knowledge gaps. Gemini then generates targeted lessons and follow-up quizzes to track progress. Interactive visualizations and Deep Research are also rolling out to Gemini Live.
