Perplexity Computer taps 20+ licensed data sources, takes aim at Bloomberg terminal

Perplexity CEO Arav Srinivas says the company is doubling down on making Computer useful for financial researchers and analysts. Computer now connects to licensed data sources including Dun & Bradstreet, Guidepoint, IBISWorld and 20+ others. An analyst can ask a question and get an answer built from the firm's own licensed sources without APIs or separate logins, with every figure traceable to its source. Commenters suggest it could almost replace a Bloomberg terminal.
