Nvidia in talks to acquire Hugging Face for over $13 billion

Nvidia has held acquisition discussions with Hugging Face in recent weeks in a deal that could value the open-source AI platform at more than $13 billion, according to sources familiar with the matter. The companies have not reached a deal, and talks could still fall apart. Microsoft has also met with Hugging Face, but talks are not currently ongoing. Nvidia, which participated in Hugging Face's $235 million funding round, has significantly ramped up its dealmaking with its substantial cash reserves.
