AWS and NVIDIA announced a major expansion of their partnership, planning to deploy 2 million additional NVIDIA GPUs across Blackwell Ultra, Rubin, and Rubin Ultra architectures, scheduled for 2027-2028 on top of the 1M-plus GPUs announced in March (deploying from 2026).
The collaboration deepens across the AI stack, including NVIDIA Vera CPUs, Spectrum networking, Nemotron open models, CUDA-X libraries, and co-engineered solutions for agentic and physical AI—driven by surging demand from frontier labs, enterprises, startups, and governments.
