A paying Gemini Advanced subscriber and professional designer posted on Reddit that the latest update forces generated images into a compressed JPEG pipeline, creating a critical bottleneck for pro work: visible compression artifacts on delicate contours, foliage and fine hair, loss of color depth and dynamic range, and files unusable in Photoshop, fine-art print and 300 DPI upscaling pipelines.
