chrismatthieu · x · 2026-08-27
Viam announced a 2-day hands-on hackathon focused on fine motor skills in robotics. Participants will work in teams to build end-to-end applications using real robot arms (e.g., UFactory xArm), Linux compute machines, and cameras. The event features two tracks: benchmark tasks like charger plugging, pouring, recycling sorting, and egg transfer, or a custom idea track. No prior robotics experience is required. Winners receive robot arms and Viam credits.
