Claude nailed in one pass the positioning a marketing team couldn't in two years
Informal-Smoke2577 · reddit · 2026-08-27
After years of failed positioning work with consultants and offsites, the author fed two years of transcripts from their best accounts into Claude with one prompt: describe the product using only the customers' own language. The output used customer vocabulary and a problem hierarchy internal docs never captured. They rebuilt the homepage on it, and the readers who "get it" are now far more often the right buyers. The takeaway: positioning answers often live in customer words, and AI excels at surfacing them.
