Nature: Pulsating muscle graft mimics benefits of exercise in mice

Researchers developed self-contracting muscle grafts that continuously "exercise" inside the body. In mice, the implants increased muscle mass, strength, and bone density, while reducing fat and inflammation. The study, published in Nature Aging, shows potential cognitive benefits and could help prevent muscle loss in those unable to exercise.
