SF Robot Demo Uses Array Mic for Visual-Free Speaker Tracking
Scobleizer · x · 2026-08-27
A demo of a San Francisco robot showcases its multimodal perception capabilities. Using a new array microphone built by @lightberry, the robot can "see" and recognize users standing behind it as soon as they speak. It can track multiple people in a room, such as at a dinner party, aiming to serve goals through more natural interaction.
