Anthropic is reportedly committing $4.5B over six years to Nscale for Nvidia Vera Rubin compute in West Virginia. Capacity is expected to come online in late 2027. Averaging $7.5B/year, Anthropic is reserving scarce compute, power, and data-center capacity instead of buying hardware outright.
