A new report maps the capital behind China's leading AI companies. Tencent holds stakes in 5 of the top AI model firms, while Alibaba has backed both Moonshot AI and Zhipu AI. Despite having their own competitive LLMs (Tongyi and Hunyuan), the giants are betting on all sides of the market.
