AI data center cost per gigawatt doubles to $60B in five years

The investment required for each gigawatt of AI data center capacity has risen from $30B five years ago to $60B today. Nvidia's CEO highlighted that revenue opportunities per gigawatt have increased across platforms: Hopper ($18B), Grace Blackwell ($25B), and Vera Rubin ($40B).
