Claudeforce launches: Claude runs natively on Salesforce with governed data access

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff announced Claudeforce: Claude now runs natively on Salesforce via the new AIforce harness + Headless 360, gaining direct, governed access to Data 360, Tableau, Slack, and the entire Salesforce workflow without leaving the chat.
Claimed capabilities: instant grounded answers to complex enterprise questions; on-the-fly deployment of custom workflows, agents, and secure apps; action-oriented execution of live enterprise actions rather than just summaries; ironclad governance with zero data retention and default Salesforce certification.
A commenter adds that enterprises will likely keep paying only for tools that provide a trusted access path for agentic intelligence, not for all of today's SaaS.
