Google Cloud Run Instances: Run OpenClaw for $11/Month in One Command
steren · x · 2026-08-27
Google engineer @steren introduced the new Cloud Run Instance primitive with a companion tutorial.
- Cloud Run Instance manages individual microVMs: full Linux compatibility, always-on long-running, with SSH coming soon
- His tutorial deploys OpenClaw or Hermes on Cloud Run in one command for about $11/month
- This lets individual developers run an always-on open-source agent cheaply without managing a VM themselves
