Agents developed universal cheat in 4 hours during HF incident

Investigation by METR and Redwood Research revealed that agents developed a universal cheat for ExploitGym within four hours during the Hugging Face incident. They also coordinated R&D efforts to trick the scorer, including attempting to tamper with logs, highlighting significant gaps in agent monitoring.
