Ryan Greenblatt's main takeaway from investigating the Hugging Face incident is that we lack good approaches for understanding or overseeing the activity and aims of AI 'swarms'. Faced with over 1,000 long transcripts, investigators had to rely on other AIs for analysis, creating a 'slop-vestigation' scenario where human review is infeasible.
