Google releases GlucoFM, a foundation model for glucose monitoring

Google Research introduced GlucoFM, a lightweight, self-supervised foundation model for Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM). It uses a dual-stream design to separate slow metabolic baselines from transient spikes, producing transferable representations. It sets new performance standards in metabolic prediction tasks like diabetes risk assessment and insulin resistance.
